printed pencil skirt review Garmin GTU GPS Tracking Unit

Garmin GTU GPS Tracking Unit

I used to use a Motorola i425 phone with a Boost Mobile minimum plan to keep the sms and unlimited texts active. It worked well as a cheap tracking device, only costing $10 every 90 days (the minutes expire after 90 days, and $10 is the minimum purchase). Running Mologogo on the phone, it would send it's GPS location every few minutes and I could track it on the Mologogo website for free. Cheapest tracking ever... until Mologogo died and went away.

Then I tried a few other services and trackers, some of which were expensive and/or did not work at all (see other reviews). Of all of them, THIS GTU 10 is perfect. The first year is free and the per-month cost after that is almost as cheap as the Mologogo hack. This thing is tiny, elegant, tough as nails, chargable via a standard mini-usb port (so I can hide it in my car indefinitely) and just plain works. The website interface is smooth and easy as are the phone apps to track it (I tried the android app and the ios app, and they are both fantastic and simple to use). All in all, I am extremely glad I found this thing and wish I had found it sooner, before wasting all that time and money on other devices. Now I can track my car on the cheap again! It's way more precise, functional and easy to use than Lojack!
